Exit bar is cleverly hidden behind the exit door of a sandwich shop with books and broad games. You have to be hyper-alert though. There is literally no sign to signal you are there. You just have to perfectly push the panels to view which one would open. Exit bar is a little and intimate area, hushed conversations and dim lighting. They serve a best lineup of beers, one that is served in the right glasses. For cocktails, the De Rigeur is advised; it is a drink with honey, grapefruit and bourbon.
Blind pig is one of the first speakeasies in city, and has a few rules to manage that vibe. Visitors are not permitted to discuss in strong voices, and must ask approval from the bar if she or he can be introduced to another visitor. Photography with flash is not permitted. It sounds hard, if you truly want a genuine speakeasy experience. Blind pig, bar in Makati is the location to go.
